various helpful resourced for web development i've found! nothing special, but i figure there's probably someone out there who's unfamiliar and wants to dip their toes in. i encourage you to, by the way! it's fun!

• W3SCHOOLS

  accessible, easy, free web development tutorials and references. i owe this site my entire life, probably. it's not just html and css either, you can learn a billion coding languages there. and by god one day i'll learn javascript.

• SADGRL TUTORTIALS

  the classic of neocities webdev tutorials. what more can i say?

i am a firm believer in sharing my toys. so here's where i get all my toys! i'm a big fan of web graphics which is why it's such a shame i can't feasibly use all the fun images i come across. hopefully you all will be able to pick up my slack.

• COCO'S PIXEL SAFARI

  cute neocities collection of pixel graphics! particularly useful for favicons, in my opinion. :-)

• GIFCITIES

  the internet archive's cute little geocities gif archive! not only good for finding graphics but also for finding obscure old geocities sites.

• ANIMATION BUNDLE

  delightful old blogspot absolutely chock full of old web graphics. you can seriously waste hours on this site. i almost certainly have.

• TINY BACKGROUNDS

  codepen collection of a huge variety of tiled backgrounds! some new, some old, some animated, some static. immensely helpful for my personal site in which i aim to make every page as garish as possible. though you can absolutely use these backgrounds tastefully. i just don't.

• BETTY'S GRAPHICS

  another collection of old web graphics, this time hosted on neocities! you can even download their whole archive at once if that's your thing.

• BYTE-BEETLE

  my friend audie's webdev blog, mostly full of graphics posted to tumblr.

• ANIMATEDGLITTERGRAPHICS-N-MORE

  another tumblr blog with a very extensive graphics collection!
